A humor egy univerzális emberi jelenség, amely átlépi a kulturális és nyelvi határokat, és képes összekötni az embereket a nevetés közös nyelvén. De mi teszi valamit viccessé? A humor tudományos vizsgálata során a kutatók három fő elméletet azonosítottak: a felsőbbrendűség elméletét, a meglepetés elméletét és az inkongruitás-elméletet.
A **felsőbbrendűség elmélete** szerint nevetünk, amikor mások hibáit vagy kudarcát látjuk, mivel ez erősíti a saját helyzetünket. A **meglepetés elmélete** azt sugallja, hogy a humor akkor jön létre, amikor valami váratlan fordulat következik be, ami megszakítja a megszokott gondolkodásmenetet. Végül az **inkongruitás-elmélete** azt állítja, hogy a humor abból fakad, amikor a valóság nem felel meg az elvárásainknak, és ez az ellentmondás késztet bennünket nevetésre.
